I have a 2000 eglide classic, interested in doing the OEM cruise control, however harley website has no cruise for anything prior to 2002, maybe a dealer order item? Or am I screwed?

You're right, I did check the Harley parts catalog and the website, But there's a solution:
I saw this website through a search
http://www.cruisemount.com/roadking.html

They claim that with their kit you'll be able to use the HD cruise kit to adapt to your bike. Let us know how it works out.

I have no clue what half those things were. I guess I'll be duct taping the throttle at the right speed.

What change is made to the left switches. I have an 06 SG and the cruise kit in it doesn't have anything on the left. Is this for the on/off switch?
