CRUISE CONTROL INSTALL (WITH PICS)
First of all I would like to thank jmxp for his awesome post:

Anyway, I sure hope you guys apprecite these pics/ as I was freezin my *** off outside (it was about 33* deg) I labeled the pics steps 1 thrus 12, although I skipped 5, dunno how'd that happened, LOL...anway here they are in order. Let me know if you guys have questions or comments. BTW, I did'nt havea servicemanual when I didt this, I do think it would've helped.Thanks!
step 5- take a beer/ or coffe break for 5 minutes...LOL
Step 13replace the battery,replace the Head lamp assy, and trim ring, replace aircleaner, replace left side cover,etc...then search forum for " Iniatializing cruise control " and follow steps.
step 14 take a break, you deserve it after all of these steps
step 15...Put your gear on...it's time to ride!
Edited to add "initializing steps:
2.) Push the left cruise on/off button to ON.
3.) Turn on the ignition switch and crank the engine. The GREEN ENGAGED light will illuminate for three seconds and go out. When it goes out, release the RESUME switch.
4.) With the bike still running, push the right cruise switch to RESUME again and hold it while the unit pulls in the slack in the cable. When the engine revs up a bit and the green light goes out again, release the RESUME button and turn the ignition switch off.

Cruise Control Cable Lash Initialization
For Harley Touring Models
1.) With the Ignition off, push the right cruise switch to RESUME and hold it there.For Harley Touring Models
