Default Need some fitment help

I know this info is probably on the forum, but I've been searching and I can't pull it all together. Here goes, I just bought a '10 Street Glide, first HD. Love the bike so far, but of course there is room for improvement. I'm 5'7" with 30" inseam, can flat foot at stops while wearing boots, does feel like I'm reaching though. Also getting some buffeting right about eyebrow level with the stock shield. What I think I want is a 6.5" Klockwerks, and a C&C solo seat with backrest. Bike already has mini apes, thinking about getting some with more pullback, but intend to change seat and windshield first. Any thoughts, opinions, real life experience welcome. Also, I will be making some 500-600 mile per day runs so comfort is the priority. Thanks in advance.

Contact Mean City Cycles (forum sponsor) and talk seat mod...they can put you lower & forward + their materials are X1000 better than stock.

I have used MCC in the past for a honda VTX seat, they made it much better, but for long rides it just wasn't there. Wound up getting an Ultimate seat, very comfy, just doesn't look as good on a SG IMO. I will check with them though, maybe their system will work better on HD seat. Going to try the 6.5" windshield this week, then see about the seat. Thanks
