Im leaning towards the ARC MPAK 6 ( 6.5" speakers) for the front fairing, 5 1/4" rears) and also the Sony DSX-S310BTX Stereo. Haven't purchased yet....UPDATE 3/8/13... DECIDED TO GO WITH A SYSTEM FROM BIKETRONICS!
I Had an Arc amp, good amp but I just put in a Sound Stream 520 Nano which I like better so far. Look in Audio systems under Harley Tech forums lots of info over there Ultranutz has some great bang for the buck options! Do a little research you will be happy you did.
I decided to go with ....Sony DSX S310 BTX Stereo, Titan II 6.5" and the BT 2180 - 180 Watt RMS x 2...Bill @ Biketronics is Awesome! Looking forward to the UPS guy showing up at my door lol !
Almost every speaker/amp upgrade offered by most companies here are simply relabeled arc amps and hertz speakers that they charge 60% more for by BS marketing tactics and lies. although lately these companies are realizing most of us are catching on they have moved on to relabeling other setups. I purchased the arc mpak6 and never looked back its amazing how clear and bass capable these new moto speakers are! i purchased the whole setup for between 4 -5 hundred by a vendor here for my street glide and have never heard anything better at any price.

That will be an awesome set-up. Those speakers sound great just running on a Sony head unit.

Well im sure you will get something decent that has also been relabeled and pay double for but hey its your money!!
In my research, I found the Biketronics Speakers & AMP(Lifetime Warranty) to be about $45 more than the ARC. The Arc System had a 1 year warranty. I do my due diligence and IMO, am a good shopper, lol. Thanks for all the input.

Then i stand corrected!! LOL. what kit are you looking at? most kits they had were using titan speakers which im sure you know are hertz! If thats what your using they in no way compare to the new moto speakers from arc, this i know as ive used the best hertz offers and found them decent at best! Im not up on there newer systems if they even have any so if you can shed some lite on who makes there amps now it would help us all understand if its actually close to the quality and price point as you have described. Thanks

Dyna, If you would take the time to look at the Biketronics site you would see that the Biketronics stuff is not rebranded from anybody. They design thier own products. The new Titan II's are Hybrid Audio Technologies HAT's, not Hertz. They used to be Hertz but started having trouble with them when the started making them in Italy. Arc Amp 70 watts rms Biketronics amp 180 rms no comparison. The HAT's specs for their speakers are better than the Arc moto's! HAT speakers have won more awards in car audio competitions since 2006 than all the other brands combined. Plus thier made in the USA.
