I'm brand new of here, I've read many things on here so decided to join. I have a question. I'm have a 07 FLHRC , in the next few weeks going to be doing some work on it with my buddy who is very expericened, but I wanted some input. Doing cams, heads and a power commander 111 0r 5. looking for some input on all.
Thanks,

Last time I checked, the PCV isnt available for the 07, so you need a PCIII
Cams - a big can of worms due to too many choices for many riding styles. The SE255 is a good low rpm torque cam & the Woods 555 has good reviews too. But there are plenty more that will work too. Do a camshaft search on here & start reading.
If you bikes motor is a stock 96, Id do a 107 kit vs custom heads. Again, depends on riding style & your desire of HP vs TQ.
You also need to factor in exhaust & aircleaner into it
Be sure, to get it properly dyno tunes when your finished.

Do you have the PC-III yet? I have the one I got from Fuel Moto that I'll sell. I replaced it with a ThunderMax. Came off my '07 Road Glide complete with DVD, cables, O2 sensor eliminators, everything needed. If you're interested PM me.
one plus for the pcv is u can run a switch and go between 2 different maps on the fly,i run a one map thats a tad richer helps with heat when in traffic.
Before doing any motor work you need to decide what you want out of the motor. May build a high RPM motor and are not happy as how often do you run at high RPM on the road.
