Sure makes a difference when you are on an all day ride stopping just long enough to put gas in you tank and back on the road.

Agreed! Best mod ever!

You don't even have to use the "getting old" excuse. How many people sit on a stool at work? .... vs a chair with some kind of back support? Anything is better than a stool.

I waited years before putting one on my last bike, waited 3 months before putting it on my next bike. It works really well for me on long trips.

Love mine and wouldn't have a seat without one. I can go without it on this bike much longer than I could on my Dyna but it's still nice on long trips.

Was a huge help on my Dyna with no windshield.

You're on a bagger with a backrest at 29 and already worried about discomfort from riding all day. At that rate, you'll be on a trike by 40 and a walker by 45!

I just celebrated my 58th birthday and have no problem with full day/week. (But I DO like my backrest!)

My wife feels the same way. hates boxed in. I use if when I'm by myself. can anyone answer this question. the mount has several holes for mounting. I put mine in the last hole moving it forward. where do you have yours and why? if I use the other holes, I have a hard time getting the sucker back in.

First mod I did to mine was get a backrest. I have had one on all my touring bikes. The Sundowner is a good combo. You will be comfy.
