Default Getting 12 inch mbb installed
Stopped by the shop yesterday to check progress they are mounted,waiting on right brake line but noticed switch housings dont come up to the lip of the bar therefore there is a gap,tech wasnt there to ask,has any body had this issue?Could it be a problem with bars being too longw

I am assuming tech is trying to keep grips flush with switch housings,they are new get a grips from hd,not sure if thats a problem or not

I just had dealer install 10" MBB and I don't have that gap but what I do have is a little play in the throttle grip. I can move it sideways at least eighth of a inch. Not sure if that's common or not but eventually it will bug the hell out of me.

What grips did u go with,from what i am reading this may be a problem

It's the grips. I had Avon's and had the same gap. Went to a set from HD because the gap drove me crazy and that fixed it. Have since installed a set of RSD grips which are the correct length too.

Problem is they are harley grips,maybe i should try rsd

HD Aileron grips on my MBB. I've never been happy with any HD grips that I have had. That throttle grip moving sideways will bug me until I go a different grip route. I will look into RSD.
