Default Ultra won't start???

My buddy has an 05 ultra. A couple weeks ago he pulled his bike out of the garage rode it about 100 feet to a turn around spot in his driveway and parked it. About an hour later he goes to get it and it won't start. Nothing, no sound at all when you try to start it. We checked the fuses and they're all good. He just bought the battery 4 months ago. He charged the battery and still nothing when you try to start it. Any idea where to go from here?

charged the battery with a real charger- or put it on a trickle charger ?

battery cables clean tight and not corroded inside the insulation ?

is there a security system ?

do the lights go on?

does the fuel pump run to pressurize the system ?

Not enough info to make a diagnosis. Need more details. What was working, what was not?

Is the key fob close to the bike or still in the garage? Is the run switch on?

Forgot to ask earlier. Why the heck did he ride it 100 feet to a "turn around" area, then get off and shut down the bike before it's had time to even start to get warm ? That doesn't make much sense to me.

Ill check with him to see what he used to charge it. Nothing came on, lights etc. first thing I checked was to make sure the run switch was on. I know we've all done that at one time or other. Now the key fob is something I didn't think about. It didn't dawn on me that he might have the key fob to far from the bike. Ill definitely check with him in the morning about that.
