If I see my UPS man on the road and he see's me and I know I have a package "out for delivery", he will usually pull over and I'll turn around and go back to where he is and he gives me the package. Don't happen much, but it does happen! He's pretty cool and know's I am crazy about bike parts.
This evening I droped my bike and parts off at my Brothers place....
He'll work on it a little between now and Sat.
Sat morning Ill show up with the Beer and we will finish up....
Yea. Except when I get home and find the Freakin sticker on the door that says "signature required". Always remember to tell the seller not to require signature if you live in an area not prone to theft. Nothing like that door sticker to deflate your Johnson. :-)
One thing that works for me is leaving a note asking them to leave the package, then signing an address label they can peel and stick to their door tag paper work. - I have receiving chrome down pat!!!!! :-)
.... Because for me, anticipation that doesn't end with my stuff = high blood pressure
I got one of those nice little signature required stickers on my door today. While I was in the damn shower! Been waiting for my Carlini Gangsters and cables, and now I gotta wait another day! It's killing me!

That sucks!!!!!
Sweet color man, those gangster apes are gonna pop on your bike!
I totaly understand the anticipation. My bike is in dealer storage all winter, came free for 1 year. Had 12 inch bars put on the bike. They just finished them yesterday. I am picking it up Sunday. I hope the Joy of riding again after a long winter is going to keep me warm for the 45 mile ride home.
I have an app on my phone that tracks packages for me called 'TrackThis'. Anytime something headed my way makes a move, it alerts me. I live for the 'Out For Delivery' notice! I missed getting my rear wheel a couple weeks ago because my boss wanted to go get something to eat (got free chinese dinner out of the deal) but it was killing me knowing that I *just* missed it. My neighbor works in the UPS distribution place, so he held it for me and I was able to get it later on though..
