Probably going to purchase a 2013 Ultra Limited Friday. I want to add 1" lower shocks, slip ons and a quick detach for the tour pak.

Would it be reaching too far to ask the dealer to include those extras?

 

Can't hurt to ask. At least they should give you a generous discount. Go for it.

 

Ask to have it includd...worst they can do is say no....just get a decent comfortable price prior to asking

 

If they don't include that package in the deal, then they will probably offer that to you with a discount on parts and installation. You should get at least a 15% discount, but I would negotiate for a 20% discount on those parts and their installation. Then I would insist that discount being offered for one year for any parts you decide to buy and install. Most dealers will work something to make the deal. This economy is not much better than it was, so bike sales still are far from where they want them to be. You have some leverage on a $25K+ bike, believe me, so be willing to walk if you don't get what you want....the Limited is a great bike....and there are plenty of them at other dealers.
