" cheap **** ain't good and good **** ain't cheap"
I've bought crap off eBay to save money it either won't fit or it has problem as stated above go to hd parts counter and hand them the money and it works every time. Just my 2 cents.

Just so we are clear I was referring to a large portion of aftermarket "junk" on eBay I never said anything about buying stuff from people here I have encountered nothing but good folks on here and lots of good advice. Stone cold ain't trying to step on your toes or anything but I didn't know if you were saying I was saying something about buying oem parts here. Just clarifying.

I think I read that wrong earlier sittin here at work tends to make me not understand things correctly cause I'm bored out of my mind and we get called out in the middle of something no disrespect to anyone.

Some of that aftermarket chrome is lower quality, and of it is not the same color chrome
as Harley's chrome.

Cant go wrong buying from other forum members in the classified sections. Everyone here is all about helping a fellow rider out in most cases.

Do not buy cheap immitations tho. You will end up paying more in the long run because it going to end up looking like ****.

i was bidding on a set of take off chrome covers on ebay, auction ended at $192 but his reserve was 375, he said hell take 350$, it seems like a good deal considering if i was to buy the kit thru harley its 700. waiting a few days to see if he'll drop the price
