Default Transmission/Swingarm mount

After reading till I feel like I am about to explode, can someome please explain how the swingarm mounts to the transmission on a 2007 Ultra? When I look at the swingarm, it appears to mount to pivot points on the frame. Does the oil pan mount anywhere at the rear of the bike, or it it just mounted/part of the tranny, and mounted to the motor?

pivot axle; it goes all the way through both eyes of the swingarm and the back of the transmission.

I'll see if I can find a picture in my service manual. I am mounting a Bagger Brace this evening when I get home. That's what lead to the curiosty.

Thanks,

Here is what my stock swingarm bushings looked like when I took em out...

If your just putting a brace on you wont even touch the swingarm mount anyway...

I agree with HotVrod about the swing arm mounts. Have the same set-up on my 2000 RdKing and my son's Ultra Classic. Night and day difference with the legendary cornering wobble. Talk to Jake about his product. He's has some real good videos . http://www.glide-pro.com/

In their defense, I did mention installing a Bagger Brace. I decided to go that route over the harder bushings. I couldn't find one bad review on the Bagger Brace.

I see now where the pivot axle mounts through the tranny. Had to shine a flashlight in there to see it.

Thanks,

Read my thread on bagger wobble, to better understand the cause of the problem. I wouldn't personally install more than one of these devices on the same bike.
