47502-09 (L) & 47504-09 (R) were the part numbers I used to get the street glide covers with no holes for my 2011 Electra glide classic when I went to the tour pack detach setup.

I just did the same thing to my limited.I used a 3/4 inch knock out tool and put two holes in my stock covers. When the mount for the tour pac go on you can't even see the holes.I suppose you could use any bit.You can see a very small gap between the cut outs for the stock mount and the new brackets but not enough for me to worry about and it's FREE.

I'm in the process of rounding up the parts to do this on my 2013 Classic right now. So far I have the four point docking kit. Ordered the license plate relocation bracket from Soft Brake this morning. There is a tourpak 2 up dock in one of the shops local but he wants a bit much for it used.

What is and where do you get a "3/4 inch knock out tool" ?

I just looked on ebay and those look like the stock covers. I think they have the wrong part numbers listed. The ones we want have holes for the docking kit to go through. There should not be a gap in the top where the bracket went through.

Thanks about the knock out tool also.
