Default Do I need a load equalizer?

So I received HD led front and rear turn signals and rear tail lamp as a gift. The instructions state no need for load equalizer and plug and play.... Yeah not really plug and play but easy enough to install.... Now I am starting to wonder if I should have one? I dont know a lot about led lighting so any knowledge on this subject would be helpful. For some reason I dont have great faith in what HD says.

If it says not needed then it's most likely built in. If you needed it the blinkers would either blink very fast or not at all. If they blink normally, you're good.

The HD LED turn signals do not need a load equalizer, it's built in.

Just install & ride......!

I'm runnin the led turnsignals on the rear and they also act as runnin lights. The Harley kit plugged right in and I'm not using an equilizer. They work just fine. The problem is, as I am told is that led doesn't require the voltage to run ,therefore some apps require an equilizer to function the flasher,.

Huey ButerBean,,,,,some don't, but if you need something to slow down the blinking pase, don't get a load equalizer. A load equalizer can get to hot. For instance, say something happened to your bike, and you had to put the Em flashers on for a good time. The load equalizer will get soo hot, it could start a fire. The other, safe option, is to get a signal conditioner. It will cost a little more, do the same thing, but safe!
