Just did my bi-annual deep clean today and used Griots Best In Show Wax on my Crimson Mist Ultra Classic. It turned out GREAT!!

Vivid Black

New HD owner here - 2012 EG Limited in Vivid Black. I just tried a new Turtle product called Black Wax. I think it's part of their Black Box family. It's a pigmented black spray on, rub in and buff off product. Easy on, easy off but most importantly LOOKS GREAT!

Great success with Meguiers Tech Wax. Use Detailer in between with microfiber towel to dust off.

Well, that is a complicated question. On my denim paint, the answer is none. On vivid black, I wash, dry, and do regular Macguires Quick Detail (the best option). If I ever get to a point where I add some swirls or light scratches, I use autogeek.com and order a professional series of polish like the Maguires 105, 205, and poor boys show finish.

For the professional grades to work out best you need a porter cable and some of the different color pads.

Macquires (sp) "cleaner/wax" after about every 2-3 washings. Makes my vivid black TriGlide shine like crazy!! Also repels water extremely well.

i use the Turtle wax Black Box once a month. i strip off the old and apply new. In between waxes use a furniture polish (probably every other day).

i work at a chemical plant and some of the chemicals are acidic so i have to keep it cleaned or else the material will eat thru the paint and leave pits.
