Kuryakyn fuel door mount works for me
I did drill a hole in it and ran the wires through the dash for a clean look

+3 on T&T Fab, no holes to drill. Just secures to your center windshield screw.

Default GPS Mounting Options

Supersenior mentioned Leader mounts (thanks man!)... here's a link to Leader GPS: http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/motorcycle-gps-mounts/

To original poster: the Magellan are harder than others to mount, especially if it's an older model. The Roadmates just didn't keep a consistent shape/size so us aftermarket folks had to start from scratch every time we made a mount... add to that the Magellan is not the most popular, and you, the user, get diminishing options (mostly plastic-type mounts).

Leader GPS mounts are solid, aluminum and stainless steel, your choice of mounting to brake/clutch, round bar, windshield, mirror stem, etc. Also: made in the USA (Kuryakyn, BTW, uses a factory in China) which means something to us.

i know that this is an old thread but i thought i'd throw in this nice gps mount. no drilling, just hooks over the inner fairing and center mount gps with two bags. works for me. the only draw back was that i ran it to bike power and i had to use a little rat tail file to file a spot for the cord to come up between the fairing and windshield.

Tried to PM 'Leadermc' as a follow up to a PM sent a couple of weeks ago... don't like to assume anything when we all know things can get lost in the electrons (or the hustle & bustle of real life)...

Got a message:
"leadermc has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages."

Anybody know what's up?

Hoping I didn't offend them with my original PM. Shouldn't have, just requesting info...

Hope all is OK...

Respectfully,
