Maybe, but I rode next to RG a few years ago with the riders beard being blown up into his eyes. I can't remember if he had lowers, but I will never forget the beard.

Lowers make a world of difference on a Road Glide. I ride with and without them and without them on there is a wind from below the fairing that contributes to the buffeting regardless of what shield is used, at least that is what I have experienced in almost 25,000 miles on a Road Glide. Thats why Sanchos Shields and GADs sell as well as they do.

12 FLTRU so I have lowers, Mustang seat that lowers me 1". When riding solo I have a 14" Windvest and when momma comes along I use a 16" Windvest . I'm 6'2" and Momma is 5'10", I have never had buffeting with either shield but she likes the 16" because it gives her a lot more protection.
