Ok,here's the deal , I have a 09 Root Beer Ultra with eleven thousand miles on the clock that I've got about 30k invested in the bike ,, After reading ALL the Threads about how well the Road Glide Handles compared to the Ultra , I'm thinking about selling the Ultra Classic and Buying a Road Glide
The only thing that Stops me is ALL the Windshield threads on this forum about how you get beat to death on a Road Glide compared to the Ultra Classic ,,
Ok Now add into the Mix that I'm 6' 4" tall ,, I would like input on windshields from Road Glide owners who are 6' 2" and up !!

6'3" 34" insean on a C & C seat that lowered me 1.5 and back about 1.5. For solo I use a Cee Bailey TRSSC at 16" and can run up over 100 mph and no buffeting , can remove glasses at any speed if needed to clean and nothing more than a light breeze in the face. But if you ride 2 up its terrible for the passanger, IMO best shield for the 2 up rider is a Wind vest or LRS mako at a height at the riders nose.
Maadstad have the reputation of being the very best but I have never used one since I can not get past the look.
'13 RGC, Almost 6'-3" and long waist. Clearview 11” recurve shield with HD plastic deflectors that mount from the cross bar to the tank. No buffeting at well over 100mph. Vented lowers add to the comfort but not necessary.
Smoothest air from any Harley touring bike I've owned and that's been plenty.
Folks put little screens on and complain about buffeting?? I'm only 6' but had no issue with harleys' tall 19" screen?? Best tourer I've ever had, period!
