Default Problems installing V&H Big Radius

I put my new Big Radius pipes on the scoot and it went pretty easy until I put the heat shields on. On the rear cylinder pipe when I put the rear heat shield all the way up to butt up against the front part there is about an inch of pipe sticking out of the heat shield. It looks silly and it cant be right. I tried to move the front part of the heat shield to try to get it back a little and make up the gap but it is in the correct position. I have been trying to figure out where I went wrong but I am stumped. Anyone else run across this fitment issue?

Disregard. I am an idiot. (admitting is the first step to recovery)

I had the top heat shield on the bottom and vice versa. Good to go now.
