Default big radius heat shield gap?

Once the bike warms up i get an annoying gap between the front and rear heat shield in the lower pipe. i was curious if anyone else has had this problem. Allt eh clamps seem to be tight on the shields. Anyone know of a fix for this? I attached two pics of what I'm talking about. The first pic is when the bike's hot the second when it's cool. Thanks.

It is normal due to heat expansion, I have the exact same problem on my big radius 2 in 1. No matter how hard I adjust the shields, they open up when they get hot.

Mine too. But I have a feeling that is the whole reason they come in 2 pieces instead of one.

They all have that, some better or worse than others. Loosen it up put it as close together as possible, then snug the clamps down, don't wail on the clamps.

if the pipes get hotter than the shields, then they have to expand at different rates.
if not something would brake. which no one would want.
