Default Air Wing Sissy Bar

Was just on the HD parts website and saw detachable air wing sissy bar that I did not notice about a month ago (it does say new so duh but idk how new) pn# 52300146. What is the difference between this and the regular detachable sissy bar? All I am noticing is the capability for a LED light but you would need to buy the pin connector etc etc... Does anyone have it? I guess the whole "air wing" title has me questioning what is $100+ more on it, I was thinking it might run off the rear shock air system to adjust back pad (idk just trying to figure out the AIR part). If it was just an LED light I would think it would be called something along the sorts of "LED sissybar". Any insight on this would be great before ordering the right sissybar for the woman.

Default Air wing backrest

You are right in that this is a new product. Just came out a short while ago (like you, not sure of exactly when, but recently to say the least). The pad does not run off the air supply or anything like that. Harley has a whole line of "Air Wing" products (luggage rack, tour pack rack, saddlebag racks). This is just the latest edition to the line. And you know how the MOCO is about pricing. I do kinda like the style of this and the tour pack rack, but not sure if I like it for the extra $$$. If ya like it, go for it. It does allow the use of the LED lights on the back of it (more $$$). Keep an eye on this forum (parts for sale section) if this one doesn't turn your head. People sell the regular backrest on here frequently (not everyday but you get my drift) and they're usually pretty reasonable.

Thanks jack. I thought as much about the sissy bar, just MOCO seeing if they can get some people to spend more for part then they already do.

i just ordered the Air Wing sissy bar today , for $259.00 Should have it by Thursday. The light is extra $39.95 and the wire harness is another $9.95. The light comes in red or smoke gray. You can also get the bar in black, Same price. To find it you have to look in the supplement catalog at the dealer, they have some other neat stuff in it as well. Be the first one on your block to spend to much on another Harley part!!
