I have been looking at the bright white LED that have been added to the
headlights of newer cars. I believe they are called eyebrows.
My thinking is that they will be an attention getter when added to the
headlight of a Harley. Has anyone seen or know of any such mod to
the Harley light? Tenn.Vol.
TV; LED's are not added to headlights...they are "independent" sealed assembly's that replace your entire light assembly. Here's an example from CD who can assist you with any lighting UG - they're a great vendor w/awesome products for your scoot. Enjoy!
Iceman I think what the op is referring to is the LEDs like the new audis have which is more like a marker light.
I haven't seen any bikes out there with something like that. The closest thing to it would be the fairing accent that harley sells. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
Yes somthing like that, BUT I am thinking a string of round LED that is inside
of the headlamp sort of a complete sealed unit. Maybe no one has come up
with such an animal at this time!! But I will keep my eye open.....Tenn.Vol.
I have looked at the pulseing head light for yrs. As it is an eye catcher..BUT
it just not me.
Since the headlight is always on, I would think that any decorative surround would be invisible in the glare for anyone in front of you. On the Audis, I suspect they are in place of using the headlights for daylight running lights.
