Spring Fastener Check
I'm going to check most of the fasteners I can see (on my 09 SG) and test my tool kit for completeness. Question: Is it best to simply test the fasteners against the torque spec (if available) or should I loosen the fasteners then re-torque? If loosen then re-torque is the way to go, should I remove the fastener to clean and replace loctite, where applicable?

If you don't have one, get a GOOD quality torque wrench....inch pounds and foot pounds. All you have to do ruin one fastener or strip it out "going by feel" and your day is toast.
