Default Head Work

Last August I did the 255 cams. I really wasn't happy with the performance gain and my gas mileage hasn't been great. I was wondering if anyone did head work after doing the 255's and how that worked out. Things I'd like to know is performance wise was it really much better. Did you have the original heads reworked or purchase new and if so which ones. How was the gas milage affected. And lastly did the sound change exhaust wise. I'm trying to decide weather to throw more money at this but can't decide. Its an 08 SG with a 96" motor.
Thanks guys!!

Real performance cams will do a lot more than head-work with those cams....

Suggestion: post your MPG and dyno numbers in a new thread and ask what others have gotten. If your results are much different the problem is not the cams.
