I wouldn't put anything like them on any bike of mine! If you want a superior ride with SG ride height there are superior shocks out there which will give you everything you crave and more! Phone Howard of HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal.

Thanks, guys... for all the responses and suggestions.

I also did a search (which I should have done before posting -- my question has been asked and answered many, many times) and found much information, both pro and con.

That's what this place is all about, helping each other, with the occasional "polite" disagreement every now and then.

I was one that was always firmly against these type of kits. Probably find many posts in the Dyna section of me telling people not to use them. I lowered my Dyna with suspension.

Then after buying my SG, new seat and a few other things funds were short and I still needed
It lowered. I figured for $30 it would be a short term answer till I, one saw if i liked it lowered And 2 had the funds for a more expensive option.

That was 2 years ago and its still on the bike. With that said I am only 160lbs and only ride solo so that helps with some of the issues they can cause.

I have the pricier LAC blocks. They dont change the geometry and are solid steel.
