Default Another Handle bars question

I ordered one set of 10" up and 2" closer bars from 2 different companies to fit my 2012 ultra limited. Both companies said they ( 10" aps )would work and they don't. Who makes bars that will receive heated grips??? I told both companies I need 7/8" ID bars, they send fat bars////////thicker walled pipe so smaller id dia.

Hey 2rays. I just installed a set of W0578 CHUBBYŽ 10" Bagger APEs form Wild1inc.com. They fit mine just fine. The only change for me was re-routing wires inside the bars and a +4 inch clutch cable.

YES, they work with oem heated grips. Mine is 2012 ultra limited with heated grips and they work great. You will need to cut 1/4 in off end of the left handlebar. This will even out the bars and accommodate the heater control. Keep in mind you may choose to NOT cut them but you may have a 1/4 in gap between the 1 inch part of the bars underneath the grip and the 1.25 chubby part that is the rest of the bar down to the handlebar clamp.

Thumbs up the 578s fit my 2013 CVO Ultra

I installed the WO 578s on my 2013 Ultra CVO and all I did was add more length to the electrical wires to make the install easier. Hydraulic clutch and brake lines worked good. I have heated grips and everything runs through the bars. WOs are inch and a quarter until the clamp and it is one inch. I measured how long the wires were sticking out of the OEM bars and added the same length, ended up adding 8 inches to all wires. After putting everything together I ohmed all wires and it was good. No problems on start up.

WildOnes says cut 1/2" off left side to accomodate heated grips.

Default 578

I did some measurements and 1/2 inch was too much. I just cut 1/4 inch off and the left side grip and clutch bracket fit perfectly.
