for those of you on the fence about this. I researched the manufacturer of this LED as I'm sure someone else has have to have done by now. The manufacturer of this headlamp is JW Speaker Corp. Had some concerns about the differences in the 73390-10A from HD and he 8700 Evolution from JW Speaker so I called JW directly. They won't discuss anything about the HD light for obvious reasons but the only difference I see physically and via specs is the HD tramp stamp across the lens.
One other significant difference I discovered is;
HD provides for a 1 year warranty on this light whereas JW provides for a 4 year on the 8700 Evolution.
From Discount Fleet Supply these lights are $374 shipped free.
I hope it's worth it. I was on the fence between this and the TL7. 374 vs 199, I went with the TL7. Also I saw a comparison on another forum that showed a wider light spread with the TL7.
Hopefully we're both happy with our purchases.
I do like the look of the 8700 Evolution though.

The spread on the Daymaker is actually very wide, its weak point is that the high beam doesn't add much distance.
