Does anybody have this windshield and if so, how does your passenger like it? I sure don't want to mess up my wife's ride but she does get a little buffeting with the factory shield so thought the LRS Ultra might help.
Thanks
I was hoping you would receive some feedback by now, but I will give you mine even though I work for LRS. I ride an '02 Road King and have a Dragnfly fairing. my wife's favorite shield we use out of all of them is the Flat Top. Sized to me, I use an 8". I like the Flat Top looks from 7-9 inch or so. Above that, I'm not crazy about its looks. We ride with the Ultra sometimes as well, and she does not mind that one. The Flat Top works better for her, but the Ultra does a great job as well. On your bike, you can't go wrong with the Flat Top or the Ultra. Be sure to size it correctly. The top of the shield should be lined up with between the tip of your nose and mouth in your normal riding position. Measure from the center screw, up. If you want to give it a try and don't think it's any better than what you have on your bike now, I'll take it back.
I have the Flat Top best shield for 2up and reduced buffeting for both rider and passenger.
I have to agree with longrideshields-2 on the looks. I have a 10" and it looked like my SG was wearing a top hat. Althought it's the best shield for my needs it is collecting dust in my garage. Next best is the Ultra. That's the one I travel with and ride 2up. Around town I use the X-Stream

I concur. I wasn't sure which I wanted (or would work the best) so I bought the Flat Top and the Ultra. On trips I use the Flat Top because of it's ability to make my wife more comfortable even though it looks weird. :-)
Riding on day rides close to home I use the Ultra when the wife is with me. When she's not, I have my shorty 7" HD on.
