This is specifically for you Street glide guy's but, anyone who has experience please chime in.
I just bought the King Tour pak to put on my 2008 Street Glide. One of my questions is: Is there a wiring harness already furnished on the bike or is the some kind of adapter needed to plug the lights in on the tour pak. It appears that there will need to be at the very least, an extension. I DO NOT like cutting and splicing wires so, not an option for me.
I don't know about the different harness used from one model to the next but, I am adding the quick detach to my Classic right now and was suprised to see the wiring for tour pak lights tie strapped to the antenna cable in the tour pak.
The accessory plug located close to the battery. Check at your parts counter for the extension harness / y adapter, etc. I used the same adapter for a LED light on a rack. Your 08 should be the same as my 11.
