I wanted to take a minute to update this thread. I finally received most of the paint set on 4/16,216 days from order date. I say most of set because gunslinger sent the wrong side covers! For taking so long the MOCO gave me 6 additional months of warranty on my bike and paid for installing the paint at dealer so its warranty would be locked with bike. Not great but at least something... Not much good to say about paint quality had to take to body shop to wet sand and buff out all the dust specks. And now pin stripes on front fender are bubbling! They are having gunslinger send a new fender. I love the over all paint scheme just not the quality. Love to put up some pics but have to find out how to change their size on my phone so I can load them. Thanks for all the advice during this sometimes it helps just to have somebody to vent to!

Glad you finally got some satisfaction. As far as the Moco's paint quality, My CVO bags I got from them had the worst orange peel you could imagine. They were totally unusable in my opinion till I spent half a day (or better) wet sanding and buffing them. No way in hell were those things going on my bike in the condition I received them. Unbelievable that quality control (??) let them out looking like that.
Sorry to hear of your issues. I agree I'd send that crap back and find a local painter. I thought the quality would be top notch not sub par. I had thought of getting a painted set from HD sometime. Now I won't waste my time and money. Hope it works out to your satisfaction.
Guess I got lucky as the dealer already had purchased the set and put on the bike when I bought it. The paint scheme was the reason I bought it. I will agree however that there was some flaws in the paint. I had them send back 2 pieces to Gunslinger for repair but only took about 2 weeks. I still have the original set of vivid black that came off the bike as well which I still think of having customized. The other thing that pisses me on these sets....good luck trying to get touch up. MOCO told me they do not have paint codes and even e-mailed Gunslinger who said they are not allowed to sell any touch up. Next time it will be a local custom painter.

Still one of the sharpest MOCO sets I've seen.
If I had the money to custom paint a bike. I'd show the painter a picture of your bike .
