I liked the idea of having a Harley product with a limited number (200) out there, but it seems to be going south now. Maybe all the posters in the garage, the brick at the museum and the tattoo will have to go!!! lol
Patience grasshopper. Good things come to those that wait. LSHD won't sell paint sets for this exact same reason. I talked to them and they would sell me one but I had to agree to not complain if it took a long time. You have a set now and you can still ride so I say ........

Ditto... depends on how bad you want that paint job.
Ya I got the flashover paint set for my fatboy lo.. Took 123 days to come in! But I knew this going into it . My dealer even told me that those numbered paint sets take forever to come in! If you have patients and stay in contact with the dealer you will get you paint set! Some people will tell you to get your money back and go to a custom painter but I say get your numbered set! Those sets are like a collectors item and most of the time they don't even produce the full 200! I ordered mine on the last day you can place the order and I ended up with 168... Plus Harley's paint quality is second to none! I say hang in there bud!
Call gunslingers direct (303) 225-0854 and get there price to paint your tins how you want them. The cost will probably be about the same. I think I'd just wait and ride with what I have. Its an easy call for a back seat driver, not so easy when your cash is on the line. Do whatever helps you sleep at night. Just update us so we aren't left in the dark.I hate not seeing the end of a movie.
Ya waiting patiently, no word back from MOCO rep yet, finally getting warm enough to ride here. Guess I'll put black paint back on so I can get on road. 200 days seems like an awful long time to keep over $5000 from a buyer with no product. What other business could get away with that? maybe MOCO getting too big for their own pants?
Call gunslinger and confirm the date they received your order. Some dealers are placed on a "credit hold" and use customers' cash for pre-paid special orders to pay for stock items like oil filters, spark plugs etc. in order to pay for normal stock items that MOCO sells on COD.
I Know of one metro Atlanta dealer who did this a couple of years ago.
I ordered a limited paint set from HD on 9/12/12 for my 13 street glide. Its still not in! Opened a case with the company, whos rep after promising set would be in twice before now says 4/15/13 will be ship date. I finally had enough! Told him HD had two choices, one: ship paint set within two weeks with a 20% price reduction(.20x$5000=$1000) or option two cancel order put $5000 back on card plus 2% intrest. He said he would get back to me. What would you do???
LOL, You don't have much experience in dealing with the Moco, do ya?
