This is the inside of the DC and this is not painted, this is the finish how it comes.
I decided on DC after reading countless threads and the one constant was not a single complaint about DC. That is not to say the other fairings are no good, but one brand in particular seemed to have a lot of complaints about quality and customer service.
DC was great to deal with and the quality of the product matches their customer service.
Any comments about the Dragonfly Fairing? I'm considering the Dragonfly only because, from what I've heard, their mounting brackets go all the up to the top of the fairing, hopefully, making for a stronger mount?

Thanks in advance for your comments.
I have a dragonfly, yes the brackets run vertically throughout the fairing, I built a shelf between the brackets and installed a JL audio 600x4 amp.
I went with Dragonfly for mine. Great customer service 6X9 speakers and paint match was dead on. I actually have bought two from them in my time. Just my two cents.
OK, so now I have another dilema.... I see that most of the Road Kings with fairings are not Classics. Is the fairing not going to look right with the hard leather bags???
I put Reckless Fairing on my 08 Road King a few days ago. They gave me a great deal when I called and ordered it and matched the color perfect to my bike. I am glad I spent the extra $30 for the Infinity Radio/Bluetooth, it sounds amazing. The USB and 3.5mm outlet and the 12 volt power outlet were at no extra cost. I wish I would have purchased it sooner.
