Default Fairing Cap Question

Do the fairing cap (I call it the dash) switch plate covers just pop off or do have to fairing switch housing off to get the switch over off. I couldn't really find anything in the manual. It only shows if you have 4 switches in there that are held in by screws.

You need to remove the ignition switch first, then the cap comes off with 4 screws, then unplug the switches from their harness.

So I need to get the ignition switch alignment tool? Seems like I need that in order to remove the nut from the threaded post...

EDIT:

Thanks. I got it. The manual says to turn the handlebars all the way left and lock it there to get the ignition switch out. But you don't really have to do that. Anyways, I got it out thanks.
