I'm thinking of adding a rider backrest to my Street Glide. Harley adjustable, Harley standard, aftermarket? Looking for reviews to see what people are happy with.
I currently have a sundowner seat with Steet Glide stitching and plan to add the back rest to match but am not sure which mounting style to go with.
I've asked a few of the dealers if I'm able to demo one as they have that program with seats but not the case with back rests. Appreciate any help.

Probably about 5 or 6 pages deep now I posted up a thread titled "Harley or Mustang backrest." it seems the overall consensus was that the Mustang was a clear winner. I've got one on order! (^_-)
I have the Harley adjustable back rest and like it. I would defiantly go with an adjustable back rest as I find myself moving it back the further I go.
I used to use the unadjustable HD backrest. It was hard to remove or reposition. I got an adjustable HD backrest for my 06 RKC. It is really good. I can change the position on the fly and it is easy to remove at night. I vote for the adjustable HD backrest.
Ride on.
