Went through 2 on our '02. (You'd think I'd have learned after the first one.)Worked great to keep oil from spilling out the fill hole.

Digital Dipstick

Bought one last year. Do not waste your money. After riding in the rain it fogged up and it never did clear up. Ended up taking it apart to dry out and then the read out went dim. Changed the battery no difference. Again not worth the cash.

I've heard quite a few legit complaints about them. I wanted one anyway. Mine's worked flawlessly for 3 years. I imagine I'll need to replace the battery sometime soon. I also have the analog dial dipstick standing by in case the digital one dies. They are kind of pricey.

As we see, some love 'em, others hate 'em.
My Dealer says the same thing, it's hit or miss.
I believe I will wait on the new improved version.
Maybe some Geek will design one with BlueTooth!
