Hbsoldier3, where did you mount them on your bike? Pics?
I have them. Darlas. 2000 lumens each, 30 degree projection angle, fully dim-able with rotary switch from 15% to 85% brightness when using low beam headlight, full on w/high beam headlight, with independent power switch.
Thanks Hamms, impressive lights for sure. I like those killer lumens and that small diameter and depth. They'd fit right in where the turn signals are now located.
But, I really couldn't spend $500 for the pair. I'll have to look for something more in line with my budget. I've ordered a couple of different units from Ebay, I'll post pics once I get the ones I like best mounted. There are quite a few options for replacement turn signals, so that part shouldn't be a problem.
how friggin hard would it be to use a ratchet strap or two and compress the front suspension and measure the.....
Guess it depends on how your shop is set up and what equipment you have available. For me that would be such a pain in the *** that I would just forgoe the experiment.

Gotcha.
The price of LED lights are going down all over.
Some will show a very wide pattern, some are more direct, you must choose for the effect you want.
I just bought 2 4" LED lights for truck backup lights, very powerful, only around $25 for both. Wide beam, but does the job well.
The quality of the diodes is KEY.
No way I would fork over $300 plus for two aux lights for my bike, personally. Shop around.
