Would ported heads give. TC 88 with Andres cams more power? I know if I also do a big bore while I'm at would be the best, but I can get these heads for almost nothing.
Ya know unlike the others comments, I wouldn't pass up a good bargain, if you can get them for next to nothing, they deserve at least find out more about them. Are they the factory cnc compressor heads? How much cam lift can they take? Would you be able to resell them for what you pay for them if you don't end up using them?
I bought my 110 heads brand new off ebay 200.00 sat on them for over a year. Now they are on my bike after being ported, polished, bronze guides installed, roller rockers and SE valve springs. I have about 650.00 total in them - the roller rockers. Never look a gift horse in the mouth.
Heads are one of the most expensive pieces in a build.....they deserve a 2nd look.
