Well for the first time I decided to pump up the rear shocks to 35 psi today and see if it made a difference when riding with the ol lady. Well they leaked down in about 2min. Since its suppose to storm tomorrow guess ill have to see what's going on. Any suggestions?????
Dang it!!!! Well looks like I might be buying new shocks lol darn it...didn't hear it blow out but I did use the lil compressor I got. Shot it real quick it was reading 40, checked again went down to 35 again 20 then said screw it. Going to head up to the stealer tomorrow and buy the pump I guess. And tear it down and try to find out what's going on. Hopefully I can find another set used or new take offs cheap.
You might not have blown them. Get your pump. Like earlier stated these thing work on low pressure. Did you see any oil puked out at the top tube fitting? It may have just popped the air hose out. You can actually pull up on the small fitting and feed that hose back in there all the way until you can't push it in any farther, the pop that top back down locking the tiny hose back in place. Air it up and see if she holds air. Just something to try first
No I didn't see any oil puke out. Going to rip into it and see what's going on hopefully I didn't mess it up then have to try and explain the new shocks to the wife, who by the way hates my bike. She only rides with me because she doesn't want to take her car and the bike. And I won't give in on riding as much as I can.
before you go spend a crap load at the dealer... i have an extra set of road king shocks (the 12" ones) and a set of ultra classic shocks. that's only IF you need new ones. if you just need a better pump then roll with that first obviously!

Thanks Jason really appreciate the offer. Might just buy a bicycle pump to start and see what's wrong. The 12" shocks are a lower stance than my classic right? Been thinking of lowering it an inch or 2.
yea the road king shocks are the 12" shocks. i think the classics are 13".... i bought the road king shocks for my dyna street bob, but never got a chance to put them on. got the 13's on the package deal with the classic.
my ultra classic i just picked up came with the 1" lowering block, so i doubt i'll need to 12's
