As your bike is very new, it probably has the oil it came with from the factory, so just get some from your dealer. Your owners manual will tell you what that is, or your dealer.

If you have yet to start working on this, if you leave the bike on the jiffy, but raise the tyres to increase the angle the bike leans, you will lose very little oil when taking that cover off. You don't need to top it up as the loss is so small.

If you have already taken the cover off you only need a small amount to top up to the correct level, which again is in your owners manual. If you don't have one you can download a manual from Harley's website. Go to the 'Owners' tab.

I just did this same thing a few weeks ago. You will need transmission oil.

If you remove the cover while your bike is on the jiffy stand, then use a plastic trash bag to catch the run-out so it doesn't cover the bottom of your bike. You will lose about 2 cups.

you can also pull the bike up on a couple of 2x8 and put the kickstand down. effectively increaseing the lean angle. Once you do this and take that cover off you'll lose very little, if any oil out of it. This is what I did when I changed bars.

edit: guess grbrown beat me to it....anyway...this process works.
