Nice, is that going on your black scoot? It'll look like a bumble bee

I have seen the vivid black on vivid black...

Looks very cool. I don't think that I would go with a different color unless you were going to two-tone your bike.

My dad just did a color-matched inner on his UC...he has the glacier white, and it looks very cool. Also has the spun-aluminum gauges. Very nice set-up.

I have painted both my EG and RG inners - they look great when clean - however, be warned - the shinny black really shows dust and I RIDE - just needs cleaning more often

My friends 02 FLHT, he used black wrinkle paint then applied a gloss clear coating. Looked gloss black from a distance and had the wrinkle texture up close. It was very nice looking.

What does it take to paint the inner, such as prep work?

Does anyone know if you can chrome an inner fairing? You can never have too much chrome on a scoot.

If you can't chrome it, then black won't hurt your resale ... you can always find buyers who want a black bike. As said earlier, a little silver flake in the black paint would look really nice.
