I painted my fairing today, well, shot the second clear coat anyway. I have a black SG and did not just want black. I also wanted a silver flake, more like a silver poly. So far it looks great, tons of super small silver specks if you get it out into the sun, but looks black in low light. I went to the automotive paint store where I use to work asa kid, looked at some chips and picked one out..............the cans at the shop so I don't have the specs to post.

Personally I think the fairing looks best when it matches the bike.
I saw a friends new paint this weekend and he had the whole bike including innner fairing painted candy red.
Wow what a great look.
If you are keeping the rest of the bike black, go black with the inner fairing. If you are going to go more extreme there are more possibilities.
