Seems simple enough. But the Street Glide is too low. You get zero points.
My Costco jack came with rubber pads that made the jack a touch too tall to slide under.
I took them off. Now I simply stand the bike up with my left hand while I slide the jack under with the right. So easy a caveman could do it.
My bike is an '06 Street Glide that is actually lower than the '09 and newer Street Glides.
I get a gold star AND 100 points - and you are now officially schooled, my man.
My J&S fit fine under my RGC which is the same as the street glide except fairing. Now using if for my CVO Ultra Classic. Will not trust a $69 jack under a $37,000 bike.

The Harbor Freight motorcycle Jack is a Jack branded for several companies. Baggers Magazine had a coupon which discounted the normal price 40%. So I jumped on it. I'm not independently wealthy.
That said, if I could afford. $37,000 Harley, the last thing I would be doing is jacking it up. I'd be paying my mechanic to do that.

The reason you would have that kind of money is doing the simple things yourself! Just my opinion though. My J&S doesn't slide under my 2012 without standing it up off the jiffy stand either. Just a scooch too tall.

I got the pro sears jack, has a mechanical locking device when you lower it. The hydraulic ram is not supporting the bike...it's lightweight and the handle removes easily. Fits under my RK fine.
