If it was close in price I would have gladly paid more. I expected it to be more but $75 for one tire that's crazy. Thanks ultraclassicelectaglide good post as well.

McDonald's should cook your black anus burger. Cooking it really really slow at a labor rate of $102.00 per hour, that's lot of Filet-O- Fishes.

They don't want to fool with your tire because they have a big sale going on with their tires with installation.

My dealer in Ohio has installed many parts that I bought and sent him to install and still gave me a discount on labor. They have been great and still make money off me. Both parties can be happy in some cases. Too bad that's not the norm though.

Well, my local dealer won't either. They are very concerned about liability. They did recommend a couple of shops...but the savings was minimal. Don't know what I am going to do yet.

That's why you would go out of business if you had one. This dealer had 2 locations and now they just have one. #justsaying lol

Have any of the folks bitching' about a "stealership" brought a dozen doughnuts by the service dept. on a Saturday morning; or dropped off a couple a twelve pack or two cold beer on a hot Friday afternoon; or dropped off a couple gallons of chili in the cold months at lunchtime.

The folks that complain are basically strangers to everyone at the dealership except their sales person.

Folks post here about helmet laws and noise ordinances bitchin about freedom. How about the freedom of a business owner to decide how they do business. Believe it or not, there are businesses who don't want your business. Anyone who brings a tire into a dealership for mounting or installation is probably someone who will rarely buy parts at the store or support them?

Finally, the "stealership" word is thrown around as if it gets the user some type of forum cred on HDF. It should be reserved for those who charge for work not performed or parts sold that weren't as intended.

No intention to offend anyone. Enjoy your ride and stay safe.

I see your piont but I'm not the average joe of the street. I bought the motorcycle through them. Got ran into by and someone texting and driving and they fixxed my bike. Had a good relationship with them. Know several people that work or worked there by name. I spent lots of extra dollars upgrading my during the time it was being repaired. I'm literally upset with how this went down. Thanks for your post but family and I run a local used auto parts business and understand how stuff works. And I never said stealership.
