Default I need some help on a fender install

i recently came across a street glide fender everything on the fender says it was made 2009 which is the same year as my Electra glide standard. When i installed and plugged in the fender it made my turn signals go crazy. the right turn signal worked as it is supposed to when I turn on the left turn signal it makes all four light blink like the hazard lights. i checked all the bulbs and the turn signals work fine with original fender. I also made sure all the wires colors matched up. Any help would be great because im going nuts trying to figure it out

You didn't say if you used the stock SG lights. The wiring is quite possibly different since the SG has the bullets and tribar light the EG doesn't have as well. This is particularly true if it was for a '10 which has no tail light. Only way to tell for sure is compare the wiring diagrams for both.

I may be mistaken ,but I think the ultra has one more wire that is not used on the street glide set up,those two wires are the same color, one works the other does not,for the stop lights,if thats not it then I would try a diff. tribar light,it should work fine

Did the fender come with the tail light wire harness or did you have to use your old one

09 & 2010 have completely different wiring harness for the rear. I learned this when I swapped my rear fender to the FBI fender as they sent me the 09 harness the first time and it didn't mate up.
