For years I have been connecting my helmet to my Ultra's sound system via cable plugged into the output jack on the tank. It sure would be nice to plug a bluetooth adapter into that jack then use wireless bluetooth to my helmet. If you can adapt an ipod to output bluethooth it should be just a matter of wiring to a plug for the HD helmet jack. Anyone know of this being done?
That, I'm sure would be very do-able however, I fear the power draw would be too much for a sensibly sized battery and you'd be back to cable for a power source.
You can use this to allow you to use bluetooth with your stock headset, but it requires that you also have the Zumo GPS install. http://www.hdbomm.com/
Edit: Looks like they have one for without the GPS for iPhone now. Didn't realize that when I posted the link.
