Default Sundowner seat?

I have a 2012 RKC. I had it lowered in the rear using the shorter air shocks and the Progressive drop in tubes. I bought a reduced reach seat when it was new....and it was so uncomfortable I sold it. The stock seat is OK for a short ride but on a longer ride gets hard.
Does anyone know if the sundowner seat will further raise me higher?

I don't know if it will raise you higher, but I went the exact same seat route you did and never looked back after landing on the Sundowner. If you have height issues try a thicker soled boot. I wear Chippewa logger style.

The "Sundowner" will lower then your stock seat.

I must admit, I thinks it's the best value, and most comfy Harley seat you
can buy.

Either buy one from one of the "online" dealers for 20% off, or look in the "for sale" section. There's always one for sale for a good price!

My wife (BSR) likes it the best out of all my 2 up seats.

Good Luck,

YB

I put one on my RK this winter. Unfortunately The snow is still here. It feels good but I haven't had a chance to ride with it yet. If anything I would say it sits just a tad bit lower than the stock seat but it is comfortable.

I just got rid of my sundowner. It is as comfortable as the couch, but I believe it is wide and spreads your legs making it hard to reach, at least for me @ 29" inseam I could not reach flat footed on both sides with my bike lowered 2" in the front and 1" in the rear. It is comfy although.

Put a SunDowner on my '12 Ultra and love it. Had one on my '08 FXDC Dyna and put almost 32k on it before trading it in on the Ultra. A great comfy seat.

Does the Sundowner push you forward, I've heard it moves you forward about 1 inch?

I have the sundowner solo on right now...it lifted me a little and puts me about 1 inch forward from the stock 2-up seat.

It is comfy...to me.
