That's what I was thinking, but a couple doubleloop straps under the seat to hook straps to??? I bolt a cheap Chinese ebay tourpack on when I travel 2-3 times a year. Dry lockable storage for under $200!

Several of the ten other couples with whom we ride, all with RKCs, put the HD detachable TPak on when they tour;
but all the years we rode the Heritage, I could never go for the TP, just put on a big bag strapped to the sissybar.

Either you ride a touring bike or a bar hopper. I would suggest you wear a back pack. It is about the ride, not how you look.

I just bought the saddlemen br3400 off amazon for $150. It has a piece that goes under your seat so you can strap the lugguge down with out having to use a back rest. It comes with a back rest strap also. I put it on but haven't tried it out yet. It does wobble a bit but can't see how it can fall off. Give a look.
