Could it be as simple as bad gas? Try some fuel treatment, and top off the tank see if it still does it.

Anything possible Bill, I,ll fill er up tomorrow see what happens don't think that,ll do it though . Blind crow land in a cornfield ever now & then though !Does a hole in that supply line mostly cause hard startin & not this problem ?

If the internal line has holes in it , it can act this way, you should be able to fill the tank and stop the symptom. that line costs $150.00, you should be able to see bubbles in the tank, if the fuel is low enough, and the bike is running.

No luck, filled er up & changed plugs no change, plugs really gray lookin like runnin lean . Kinda lost...

I am kind of at a loss also, because you did change the fuel filter, I hope someone smarter than I can help you out.

The motor just sounds flat as hell to me, filled tank with 93 & same thing. I have a K-M fuel pressure gauge bought but wont be here till Monday or Tuesday. Think there would be any need to waste a cam cvr gasket for a peek in there ? Have no idea on upgrades if any in there .It seems like it pops more than normal on decel when revin it also. I,m lost . Thanks for any help, Jethro

Aint tried gas cap real good yet but did get fuel pressure checkd out, just ign. on 60 lbs no drop, runnin steady 60lb . Nething wrong with leavin it hooked up for a test ride ?
