05 Electra Glide losin power
Coming home
from work this evenin ,goin bout 80 on the big road came to a hill & all of a sudden could not go more than 50-55 ran decent to 3000 rpm seemed like but more throttle didnt equal speed. Good chargin,oil pressure. Limped home last 3 miles & pulled it in garage it will fire right up . Mostly stock motor pipes and breather all thats not stock. Seemed like it was maybe a little hotter than normal not sure hottest day weve had in KY this year. Can work on pre twinkies but just bought this last year ! Damn 2 cams r Greek to me . No smoke or nuthin. I have put 5 or 6 K on bike with no trouble . Where would u guys start lookin ? Cam chest.cant hear any valve train noise,but cant hear for crap .Got bout 45 K miles on it. Sorry 4 bein so long winded . TIA, Jethroe

Sounds like what my FI 05 dyna did several times last year. Start pulling up a grade and no warning it was like no power at all. Went from 75 to 55 mph. It finally started acting ok. Did the easiest thing first, Changed fuel filter, hasn't done it again.

Hey Gentlemen, finally got around to changing that "cheap" H-D fuel filter ,knock a $100 bill in the head . Been to cold to hit interstate with it but a little 2 lane it done ok. Hit the big road this evenin after work & doin it again though it wasn't as bad. Pullin down bad, can pull clutch in & revs right up ! Weird as hell ! Didn't change that check valve & line , what does that do with a pin hole or something in it ? No engine light or nothing plenty volts & oil pressure. Any thoughts appreciated ! Later TIA
