Question Handlebar Adjustment

Does anyone know the size of the handlebar torx head on a 2012 FLHTC? Using access to the rear bolts under the radio.

You may be able to make an adjustment simply by pushing down or up on the bars without loosening anything. Many will say no to this but it has worked for me.

If you could move them up or down without loosening any bolts, they are too loose to begin with and need to be tightened. So he still needs the size.

Then they are not tightened properly and potentially dangerous. If you need to stop quickly, you need them to be solid, otherwise you could lose control.

They are mounted to bushings. I venture to say that I could get on most any bike and pull them up or push them down. Not saying it is the best thing to do but I can do it on my bike.

Dude. Just doesn't sound right. I can lift my 820 lb rkc up using the bars and bag mounts and nothing moves. I rely on those bars to stay put when I need to lean on them hard..

Now that's looking for trouble.
